The George includes a dedicated bridal suite (The Parlor), a groom's room (The Lounge), a private outdoor space, a full catering prep kitchen, day-of security, and dedicated parking in the attached deck.

Every rental includes exclusive use of the full 8,400-square-foot venue, onsite security, and members of The George on site to support you and any coordinator or planner you bring. Tables and chairs are not included; they are arranged through your rental company or planner. There are no room tiers. Every booking gets the whole building. Entry can be arranged beginning as early as 9am.
We do not provide catering. Clients select from our approved vendor list of Birmingham caterers. This gives you complete control over your menu, style, and budget without restrictions. Your caterer will have access to our caterer's prep kitchen the day of your event.
Bar service is provided in-house by The George's licensed staff. Clients may not bring outside alcohol. Choose from Beer & Wine, Full Bar, Premium, or Reserve. Tell The George about your event to see the package prices and your estimated total.
Yes. The layout allows a full room flip between ceremony and reception. The George team helps manage the transition while you and your guests enjoy cocktail hour, or the courtyard, if you've added it. The bride's parlor is also available throughout the day for getting ready and pre-ceremony moments.
The George has dedicated parking spaces in the attached parking deck provided at no charge to guests. There are adjacent parking lots, which are monitored by day-of security. Street parking is also free on weekends and holidays, which covers most of our Saturday and Sunday events.
The George accommodates up to 350 guests for plated seated dinners and 500 guests for cocktail-style receptions. We do not exceed 500 guests to maintain the quality of the experience.
Yes. The George is a single-floor, ground-level venue with no stairs required for entry or circulation.
Submit an inquiry through our event questions with your preferred date and event details. We respond within one business day. If your date is available, we'll schedule a tour. No commitment required to visit.
Absolutely. We love working with planners and have relationships with many in Birmingham's planning community. If you're a planner interested in touring the space or joining our preferred vendor network, please reach out directly.
The courtyard is available as a paid add-on and can be used for outdoor ceremonies, cocktail hours, or open-air receptions. It's a reserved, dedicated space, ideal for couples who want their ceremony outside before moving indoors for the reception, or for clients who want a cocktail hour under the sky. Pricing and availability are included in your inquiry response.
